History
“When a woman is empowered, an entire family rises.” — The guiding belief of Devi Foundation
Devi Foundation began its journey in 2022 with a simple yet powerful vision — to empower women through education, skill development, and community support. Founded by a group of social workers and educators, the foundation started its work in Himachal Pradesh by offering small-scale stitching and craft training programs for rural women.
Over the years, Devi Foundation has grown into a dedicated organization focused on turning women into confident, skilled, and self-reliant individuals. Through continuous training, awareness drives, and livelihood initiatives, the foundation has touched thousands of lives — creating a ripple of change across communities.
What began as a small effort to help a few women find their footing has now evolved into a mission-driven movement to build a generation of empowered women who lead with dignity and purpose.
Our Achievements & Impact
- ✅Empowered Over 10,000+ Women through skill training and self-employment programs across Himachal Pradesh and North India.
- ✅ Established Women Training Centres in Una, Dharamshala, and Shimla focusing on tailoring, weaving, and entrepreneurship.
- ✅ Partnerships with Local NGOs & Government Departments for community development and training collaborations.
- ✅ Initiated “Education for Every Girl” Support Program offering school supplies and scholarship aid to underprivileged students.
